What better way to celebrate Discovery Channel's Shark Week than to visit "Shark Encounter" at Seaworld. Devon and I arranged time off on Monday so we could take Finn and Tiago. Upon arrival at Seaworld we asked the boys where they wanted to go first.
ANSWER: Go see the Sharks.
Finn - Aunt Devon - Tiago

The photo below is of shark teeth I found on the beaches of Top Sail Island, North Carolina. Todd and I have visited twice during the summer months and you actually find shark teeth that wash up on the sand. Every morning with coffee in hand, I would search the sandy beaches for the shiny black shark teeth that washed ashore during the night.
This is my personal collection, carefully kept in a container purchased aboard the USS North Carolina in Wilmington, NC. See the sand in the photo? Actual sand from the beaches of Top Sail Island.
Finn has never seen my personal collection of shark teeth, so in honor of "Shark Week", out came the teeth. Without bragging too much, Finn was very impressed that his mother has a Shark Tooth Collection.

Watch with caution...
you may never go back in the water again.

Great Pictures. Wow totally agree watching Discovery Channel Shark week, has made me take an oath, never to surf in South Africa, Northern Brazil, and Australia!! NEVER! Those who choose to surf there are absolutely MAD! I need to show Finn my prehistoric Shark tooth which is stuck in a prehistoric whale vertebrae! Pretty darn cool! :) Had a great time with you both!! xo Devon
